Hello, I'm Andrew ~ I worked as a Graphic Arts Technician in the large format graphics industry for 5 years to bring precision printing to life, and while I love that industry, there's nothing comparable to engraving into metal, the depth and tone possible through laser engraving left me captivated to pursue this path. Prior to that, I have had a long passion for custom creation in photography, jewelry and making dream bicycles for cyclists.
Currently, I offer laser engraving and metal cutting in sizes up to 12x12" in all metals as well as wood. Single item or batch production are both possible, thanks to the magic of humans and machines working together as one. While the 12x12" size seems small, it isn't just cutting that can happen at this size ~ deep engraving, incredible detail and multi toned finishes are possible, far beyond what a typical large laser in a machine shop can do.
My favourite medium is Brass, the possibilities for shaping and toning this metal into beauty keep me coming back to this medium, but I am fond of metals in general.
Primarily what I do in this studio is to create physical forms out of stock materials, customized items rather than engraving on premade objects. I would recommend a different local laser company for engraving of premade items ~ if you're looking to have something made from scratch that's only a dream, drawing or photo right now, that's my forte.
